[Recipe] Holiday Sausage Pancake

Prep 5min | Cook 20min | Making meatballs with Italian sausages takes mere minutes and is so easy. This is the perfect comfy weeknight dinner

INGREDIENTS

Servings: 6

2 links pork sausages (we use Sweet Italian sausage, you may use any of desired)

200g pancake premix (we get one from Lotus’s nearby)

250ml milk

25g melted butter (or any cooking oil of preference)

Maple syrup (optional)

1 non-stick skillet

1 non-stick baking tin

Oven

INSTRUCTIONS

SAUSAGES

  1. Remove casing from sausages.
  2. Cook and crumble sausage over low-medium heat for 5-6 minutes, until nicely browned.

PANCAKE

  1. Preheat oven at 180 deg.C.
  2. In a large mixing bowl, add premix and milk. Whisk to mix until no lumps remain.
  3. Grease baking tin with melted butter (or cooking oil). 
  4. Pour half of the batter into baking tin. Layer with sausage meats. Pour the remaining half of the batter into the baking tin.
  5. Bake for 20min, until pancakes until evenly browned
  6. Serve with or without Maple Syrup.
  7. Enjoy!
