Sausage Tofu Bento

1 link non-spicy homemade sausage
1 cup shredded cabbage (adjust portion according to your preference)
3 medium tofus (粗豆腐); use type that is made for chinese stew (卤水)
1 tsp soy sauce or teriyaki sauce
1 tsp oyster sauce
2 tbsp drinking water
2 tsp vegetable oil
1/2 cup cooked rice
Coat sausage with a little oil.
Sear sausage on low-medium heat in a non-stick skillet until nicely browned, about 6 to 8 minutes. Set sausage aside and let cool.
In the same skillet, lightly coat tofu with soy sauce or teriyaki sauce and fry on medium heat until lightly charred on edges. Set aside.
Fry whitebait on low heat until fragrant and lightly browned. Add cabbage, water and soy sauce and fry until softened. Transfer to a foil cup cake liner or any other container that is not water absorbent.
Place rice in bento container and top with tofus.
Place the foil container at one end of the container.
Cut sausage into 1/2 in thick slices and place in the space next to foil container.
Garnish shredded seaweed if prefer. Serve hot.
